Terms and Conditions
- ANZ SHIPPING LLC confirm that information obtained as part of SMS consent process will not be shared with any third parties.
- ANZ SHIPPING LLC agrees to arrange the transportation of the vehicle(s) listed in this shipping agreement around the requested dates. ANZ SHIPPING LLC will coordinate with a licensed carrier (agent) to meet the terms outlined in this agreement. However, ANZ SHIPPING LLC does not promise specific pickup or delivery dates. Typically, the pickup window is between one and three business days from the first available pickup date.
- This agreement is subject to all terms and conditions outlined in the carrier’s bill of lading, which is available at the carrier’s office and is incorporated by reference into this agreement.
- The carrier assumes responsibility for the vehicle when the shipper or their designated representative signs the bill of lading at pickup and relinquishes responsibility upon delivery when the bill of lading is signed. If the shipper cannot be present at either location, ANZ SHIPPING LLC must be informed, and an agent must be designated. Should the carrier arrive and be unable to pick up the vehicle, a $75.00 fee will apply to reschedule the service.
- The carrier assumes responsibility for the vehicle when the shipper or their designated representative signs the bill of lading at pickup and relinquishes responsibility upon delivery when the bill of lading is signed. If the shipper cannot be present at either location, ANZ SHIPPING LLC must be informed, and an agent must be designated. Should the carrier arrive and be unable to pick up the vehicle, a $75.00 fee will apply to reschedule the service.
- Unlike some companies, ANZ SHIPPING LLC does not require payment until the day a carrier is assigned to your vehicle. When placing an order, a credit card is kept on file, and authorization occurs at the time of booking. The deposit payment will be processed when the vehicle is dispatched to the carrier. The remaining balance is due upon delivery, payable directly to the carrier via cash or cashier’s check. Please inquire about our specific payment policies for international, offshore, or overseas shipments.
- ANZ SHIPPING LLC cannot guarantee transportation by any particular carrier or driver.
- If you are transporting an inoperable vehicle, you may need to assist in loading or unloading it at the driver’s discretion. If a vehicle becomes non-operational during transport, an additional $150.00 will be charged at delivery. It is the shipper’s duty to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition before transport. Mechanical issues, such as dead batteries, alternator problems, or loose cables, that render the vehicle non-operational during transport will incur a $150.00 fee.
- ANZ SHIPPING LLC and its carriers are prohibited by federal law from transporting vehicles containing personal or household items. Any such items left in the vehicle are the sole responsibility of the shipper. ANZ SHIPPING LLC will not be held liable for damage or fees incurred due to these items being in the vehicle. This policy is enforced under federal law and beyond the control of ANZ SHIPPING LLC.
- ANZ SHIPPING LLC and its carriers are not liable for damage caused by acts of nature (such as fires, floods, hailstorms, or earthquakes), vandalism, or debris from the road or sky. It is recommended that shippers maintain their own insurance to cover such risks. Enclosed transport is available at an additional cost for enhanced protection.
- The shipper is responsible for preparing their vehicle(s) for transport. This includes securing or removing fragile or protruding parts, such as loose parts, low-hanging spoilers, antennas, or fog lights. Any damage caused by parts falling off the vehicle during transit is the responsibility of the shipper.
- In the event of damage during transport, all outstanding payments must be settled before filing a claim. Alternatively, a cash settlement can be arranged directly with the carrier. Damage must be documented on the bill of lading and signed by both the shipper and the driver at the time of delivery, regardless of lighting or weather conditions. A signed bill of lading without damage notation confirms that the vehicle was delivered in good condition.
- ANZ SHIPPING LLC must also be informed of any damages within 24 hours of delivery. A written description of the damage, along with clear photos and two repair estimates, must be submitted within 10 days directly to the carrier for resolution. While ANZ SHIPPING LLC will assist in this process, it assumes no responsibility for damages caused by the assigned carrier. For high-value vehicles, it is recommended to purchase additional insurance or opt for enclosed transport.
- The shipper agrees to resolve any disputes exclusively within the jurisdiction specified by ANZ SHIPPING LLC. Liability on the part of ANZ SHIPPING LLC is limited to the amount of the deposit. The carrier’s insurance details will be provided upon request to address disputes.
- Orders may be canceled at any time before the vehicle is assigned to a carrier. If a cancellation occurs after a carrier has been assigned, the deposit will be forfeited. Canceling before carrier assignment will result in a full refund of all payments made to ANZ SHIPPING LLC. If a carrier is assigned and fails to load the vehicle within five business days of the agreed pickup date, the shipper may cancel the order for a full refund or request a different carrier assignment.
- ANZ SHIPPING LLC operates as a licensed and bonded property broker, arranging vehicle shipments with licensed motor carriers. Claims for damages must be directed to the carrier, as they are solely responsible for such matters. ANZ SHIPPING LLC’s role is to connect customers with qualified carriers for transport services.
- ANZ SHIPPING LLC assumes no responsibility for delays or fees incurred at port facilities due to demurrage.
- By placing an order online, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions, as well as those found on the ANZ SHIPPING LLC website. Payment of the deposit indicates acceptance of this agreement.
- Vehicles must be made available for pickup and delivery during the agreed-upon timeframe. If a vehicle becomes unavailable after an order is placed and a carrier has been assigned, ANZ SHIPPING LLC reserves the right to cancel the order following the cancellation policy.
- ANZ SHIPPING LLC is not liable for costs associated with carrier delays, including storage fees, rental car charges, or other expenses.
- The insured carrier responsible for the transportation of the vehicle assumes full accountability for any claims. By releasing the vehicle into the carrier’s custody, the customer agrees to the carrier’s terms. These terms can be obtained upon request at the time of pickup or delivery or by contacting the carrier directly via phone or email. ANZ SHIPPING LLC and its agents are not liable for any damages, including but not limited to:
- Damage to the undercarriage, suspension, exhaust system, wheel bearings, tie-downs, brakes, alignment, battery, or charging system, as these components are not inspected at the pickup location.
- Damages that are not visible or identified at pickup due to inadequate lighting or adverse weather conditions.
- Damage to car antennas or phone systems under any circumstances (it is recommended to remove these items).
- Loss of or damage to audio or video equipment that was not installed by the vehicle manufacturer, including antennas that fail to retract within three inches of the vehicle body.
- Damage or fines resulting from personal or household items left inside the vehicle by the shipper.
- Damage caused by road debris, objects falling from the sky, or other unforeseen incidents during transport.
- Damage to convertible or vinyl tops, or other decorative coverings, that are over two years old.
- Damage to items like T-tops, caps, bras, boots, or similar canvas accessories.
- Damage caused by leaking fluids such as motor oil, battery acid, brake fluid, transmission fluid, radiator coolant, or power steering fluid, as well as damages resulting from natural disasters (acts of God).
- Damage caused by freezing of the cooling system or the battery.
- Damage due to failure of factory tie-downs or issues with tie-down holes.
- Damage to or caused by vehicles that cannot be driven onto or off the transport under their own power, such as those with inoperative brakes or mechanical failure.
- By signing the bill of lading, the shipper or their agent authorizes the carrier and its employees to operate and transport the vehicle from the pickup location to the delivery destination.
- The shipper confirms they are either the legal owner of the vehicle or have authorization from the owner to act on their behalf.
